Mortgage 101: VA Interest Rate Reduction Loan (IRRRL)

Mortgages can be stressful and time consuming, but the VA Interest Rate Reduction Loan, otherwise referred to as “VA Streamline Refinance” helps make the mortgage process a bit simpler. The loan helps save time, paperwork, and additional fees because this type of loan may not require appraisal, nor does it go through the usual VA lender underwriting process! How does it work? The VA IRRRL refinances one VA Mortgage Loan into another. With an IRRRL, your client can achieve a lower payment, lower rate, or both! Sound pretty good? Contact your loan officer today for more information!

Premium Mortgage Corp. continues to outperform our competitors!

We are so thankful for everyone that has continued to help Premium Mortgage Corp. grow! MBA just released new statistic for lender performance, check out how we compare:

7 Tips for The Best Thanksgiving Turkey

Now what we’ve all been waiting for… the turkey! And with Thanksgiving just around the corner, these awesome tips are perfect for the holiday season.

  • First and foremost: pick the right turkey for you! Organic, fresh, or frozen it’s up to you!
  • Need help picking the size? Figure on about 1 to 1.5 pounds of turkey for each person (or more, if you are like us)
  • Brining keeps it moist – skip basting. Brining is simple, it’s a solution that contains water, salt, sugar and variety of spices and aromatics.
  • Rub the turkey with butter or oil. Before throwing the bird in the oven.
  • Cook the turkey on a rack of vegetables, this helps increase the hot air circulation, by lifting the turkey off the base of the pan. The vegetables also add great flavor to the gravy!
  • Brining keeps it moist – skip basting. Brining is simple, it’s a solution that contains water, salt, sugar and variety of spices and aromatics.
  • Keep the stuffing on the side. Stuff turkeys take longer to cook and could dry the meat out. Who wants to wait longer to eat the delicious turkey – not us!
  • Give it rest! Keep the juices locked in, tent your turkey with foil and let it rest for at least 15-20 minutes before carving.
