Position: Systems Administrator (IT Department)

Description:
The Systems Administrator is responsible for organizing, documenting, modifying, and supporting the network & computer systems. Design, install and document the company’s Internet/Intranet, LANs, WANs, network systems. Join our IT Cyber Security team to develop, document, and implement policies & procedures for the business unit.

Job Duties:

The Systems Administrator will be responsible for completing the following job duties. This job description reflects management’s assignment of essential functions, and nothing in this herein restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.

  1. Ensure the design of system allows all components to work properly together.
  2. Maintain system efficiency and make recommendations for future upgrades.
  3. Troubleshoot problems reported by users as well as identify user needs.
  4. Maintain network and system security. Analyze/isolate issues.
  5. Monitor networks to ensure security and availability to specific users.
  6. Evaluate and modify system’s performance.
  7. Maintain integrity of the network, servers, and security.
  8. Maintain network servers such as file servers, VPN, Wireless Networks, print servers, intrusion detection systems, desktop encryptions server
  9. Ensure network connectivity throughout the LAN/WAN infrastructure.
  10. Design and deploy networks at multiple locations.
  11. Assign configuration of authentication & authorization of directory services.
  12. Maintain network facilities in individual machines, such as drivers and settings of personal computers as well as printers.
  13. Administer, configure, & monitor phones, smartphones, servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, software deployment, security updates, and patches.

Position: Underwriter

Location: Buffalo, NY

Minimum Experience Requirements:

  • Thorough understanding DU/LP AUS engines
  • Superior knowledge in conventional underwriting program guidelines
  • Ability to review and retain multiple investor guideline requirements
  • DE / SAR Designation Preferred
  • Must have the ability to work independently and jointly with other department
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills
  • 5 + years of underwriting experience required

Position: Loan Officer

Locations: Buffalo, NY and Syracuse, NY
Job Description: The Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO) proactively seeks ways to solicit new residential mortgage business through a well-built network of business relationships. As an MLO at Premium Mortgage you will be responsible for interviewing prospective borrowers to determine their mortgage needs. The MLO will communicate all applicable products, terms and pricing to the borrower to determine the best course of action. The MLO will continually engage in opportunities to expand their knowledge set. The MLO must be self-motivated to consistently meet sales goals.

  • Two years of loan origination experience or outside sales
  • Knowledge of conventional and government guidelines helpful

Position: Mortgage Closing Specialist
Location: Buffalo, NY
Primary function: Responsible for preparing closing documents in a timely fashion while insuring the loan is closing within our Investor’s strict compliance guidelines.
Work Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Also willing to work overtime during seasonal increases in volume.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and generate residential loan closing packages
  • Review closing packages for accuracy
  • Closing Disclosure validations and setup wires
  • Assist in delivery to investors as needed
  • Communicate effectively with all parties involved in the loan process (Loan Officer, Underwriter, Attorney, Realtor, etc.)
  • Suggest ways to improve the closing and funding process

  • Minimum of 1-year mortgage closing experience
  • Basic underwriting knowledge and terminology

Position: Mortgage Processor
Location: Buffalo, NY
Primary function: Responsible for obtaining, processing and reviewing all required loan documentation in compliance with company’s established deadlines.
Work hours: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Job Duties:

  • Reviews all documentation necessary for loan approval for accuracy, completeness, and tracks all data in origination software.
  • Quickly and efficiently answers questions from consumer throughout the mortgage process.
  • Stays up to date on changing rules and regulations pertaining to conventional and government-insured mortgages.
  • Processes verifications for credit items, including, but not limited to: employment, asset information, rental history, credit reports, etc.
  • Works closely with underwriting and closing departments to ensure the quality of loan file flow.

Job requirements:

  • A college degree with one to three years related experience and/or training. A combination of equivalent education and experience is acceptable.
  • Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, employees, and vendors.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Computer skills pertaining to the basic use of personal computer, email, word processing, and spreadsheets.
