Premium Mortgage is looking to hire a full-time Training Specialist with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. Experience with mortgage loan origination system or mortgage lending operations or sales is a plus.


Job Duties:

  • Responsible for delivering training to employees virtually, in person or other means that enhance the learning experience and promote growth initiatives within the organization.
  • Create training materials. Materials include participant guides, job aids, facilitator guides or other medium required to enhance the learning experience.
  • Maintain training attendance records and training calendars. Assign, manage, and track training participation via Learning Management System.
  • Ability to work with, communicate, and provide training to all levels of employees.
  • Coach and mentor both new and existing employees. Identify opportunities to enhance performance and efficiency.
  • Determine the best course of action to fill educational gaps, introduce new products, systems (both new and enhancements to existing software and applications) and support initiatives that grow PMC business and enhance the customer experience.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
The following qualifications are required of the Training Specialist

  • 25% or less travel

Education:

  • A degree in business, training, instructional design and/or mortgage related experience or training is preferred

Skills:

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to present information in a meaningful and easily understood format
  • Possesses the ability to demonstrate and convey complex concepts to participants in a simple and precise fashion.
  • Positive customer service attitude with emphasis on promoting the company
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and PowerPoint)
  • Self-motivated and works independently; interacts professionally with all levels at the organization
  • Supports and promotes the Premium Experience in all interactions
  • Mortgage Banking experience with emphasis in Systems, Sales, Operations, Servicing or Compliance.

This job can be performed out of any of our NY branches. Rochester, Syracuse, Albany, or Buffalo


Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
