Locations: Syracuse, Rochester, Buffalo, Albany, Ft. Myers, Miami
Premium Mortgage Corporation is seeking a Mortgage Underwriter to join our team.
Job Description:
The mortgage underwriter is responsible in deciding to approve or deny a client's mortgage loan according to the information provided in the loan application. They ensure that the specifications of the properties and terms of the loans meet the requirements of Premium Mortgage Corporation and with the government regulations.
Qualifications:
- Thorough understanding DU/LP AUS engines
- Superior knowledge in conventional and FHA underwriting program guidelines
- Experience with VA underwriter is a plus
- Ability to review and retain multiple investor guideline requirements
- DE / SAR Designation Preferred
- Must have the ability to work independently and jointly with other department
- Strong attention to detail
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- 5 + years of underwriting experience required
The underwriter may work from one of our locations (Buffalo, Rochester, Albany, Syracuse) or may work remotely.
