Jr. Closer
Locations: Syracuse, Rochester, Buffalo, Albany, Ft. Myers, Miami
The Jr Closer supports the Closing Department by completing internal tasks required to keep Closings on track.
Job Duties: The Jr Closer will be responsible for completing the following job duties.
- Enter closing dates and times in Encompass
- Assigns loans to Closer and Junior Closer for 100% file scrub
- Request and/or complete verbal verifications of employment
- Manage scheduling email and calendar when loans are scheduled by bank attorneys
- Request updates to Homeowner’s and/or Flood insurance binders from Insurance agents
- Request Underwriter or processor corrections to files
- Scrub and prepare files for Closer to complete Closing documents
- Maintain task turn times of 48 hours or less
- Training as needed

Education:
- A college degree with two years related experience and/or training. A combination of equivalent education and experience is acceptable.

- Previous experience in the mortgage industry with understanding of loan processing and closing.

Work Location: Hybrid between office and remote
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
